ARTA Benefits

ARTA is composed of organizations devoted to the development, manufacture, servicing, and use of reusable textiles. The cost-effectiveness, environmental and performance advantages of reusable products in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, outpatient facilities, home healthcare applications as well as the hospitality and industrial sectors offer major benefits to our society. Membership benefits to ARTA members include:

  • NEWSLETTER—ARTA publishes a bimonthly member newsletter covering association activities; member profiles; and news items related to reusable textiles, disposables, government regulations, and other matters of importance to the membership.
  • DVDs/PUBLICATIONS—ARTA’s DVDs for long-term care and acute-care facilities and the publications, “Reusable Textiles—A Prescription for Change,” and “The Responsible Choice,” are valuable marketing resources available to members that summarize the many benefits reusable products bring to the healthcare field.
  • SEMINARS—ARTA makes itself available for presentations to other associations outlining marketing, regulatory, and technological issues pertaining to reusable textiles.
  • TRADE SHOWS—ARTA exhibits at U.S. and international trade shows to meet with representatives of the laundry, textile, fiber, chemical supply, machinery, and apparel trades for discussions about implementing new technology.
  • LEGISLATIVE /REGULATORY ISSUES—ARTA meets with government leaders to apprise them of the practical advantages of reusable textiles. ARTA also tracks U.S. , FDA, FCT, EPA, CPSC, DOT, and CDC programs as well as tariff and trade issues. Matters related to state government problems are also reviewed and addressed.

    • Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)
